How Others Use the Web

You don’t need to be an adult to harness the power of the Internet. Even young people can to change the world through a web site.

In 1995, 11 year old Aubyn C. Burnside,
Co-Founder and President of SuitecasesForKids.org heard about children  moving between multiple foster homes who had to carry their belonging is trash bags. She started Her organization with 31 suitcases bought for $15 at the Salvation Army store. In 5 years she helped organized a movement that had collected 25,000 suitcases for foster kids.

  Education

I never earned a college degree (I wish I had). I use a lot of math and science in my work. I’ve had to invest quite a bit of time learning how technology works. Because of the amount of innovation in my field of expertise I place a very high value on life long learning.

Andy and his proud father in front of the New College Theater at Harvard UniversityI’m proud to say my son Andrew earned his Masters of Fine Art (MFA) at the Yale School of Drama. He is now the Technical Manager of the New College Theater at Harvard University.

My claim to higher learning is the honor of graduating from McDonalds Hamburger University where I learned the secret ingredient in their Milkshakes.

My advice is to Stay in School and develop a passion for learning.
